Playback environment limitations

Kollus Player operates only in an environment integrated with a content delivery platform. Therefore, the player alone cannot play content, and you must access it through your service page.

Installation and setup instructions​

Windows environment​

  1. Click the installation file link above, or click the [Download] button that appears during video playback, to download the installation file.
  2. Run the downloaded file and follow the instructions in the installation wizard.
  3. After installation is complete, check the icons below.
    • Tray icon: Verify that the player icon appears in the system tray on the taskbar.
    • Download Home: The Download Home icon created on the desktop lets you manage downloaded content and update DRM policies.
      • The name and presence of Download Home may vary depending on the site you use.

macOS environment​

  1. Click the installation file link above, or click the [Download] button that appears during video playback, to download the installation file.
    • If the player is already installed: When the message "Are you sure you want to open KollusPlayer_OSX?" appears, click [Open KollusPlayer_OSX].
  2. Run the downloaded file and follow the instructions in the installation wizard. When you run the installation file for the first time, a warning may appear due to system security policies.
    • Allow permission settings: [System Settings] > [Privacy & Security] > [Security] > allow the KollusPlayer_OSX app to run (click [Open Anyway])

Mobile environment (Android/iOS)​

  2. Search for "Kollus Player" and install it.
  3. After installation is complete, play the video again on mobile web, and the Kollus Player app will launch automatically to play the video.
